Repairs & Renovations in Progress!
Shady Hollow Community Center Closure
The Shady Hollow Community Center and HOA Office will be closed to everyone starting Sunday, January 22nd through Sunday, January 29th for major repairs and renovations. Office Staff will not be able to be in the building during this stage of Community Center renovations.
In case of Emergency during this time period, contact the General Manager at the following number: 512-520-7959. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during the process. The improvements to the Community Center will be enjoyed by all for many years to come.
Board Meeting Notice
There will be a Shady Hollow Board of Director's Meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2017 @ 7:00pm at the Community Center - 3303 Doe Run. This is an open meeting and residents are invited and encouraged to attend.

Community Center Renovations Begin
It's been a long time coming but the renovations to the David C. Ellis Community Center are under way. During this initial phase we will be concentration on the finishes throughout the facility. Work began last week on the East Meeting Hall. The old carpet has been stipped out to make way for the new. The room will see new paint on the walls, ceiling and trim as well as new blinds. We are finalizing the final ceiling design this week.

Sadie got out of the yard last night, Tuesday, Dec. 27th,
between 6:30-8:30 pm. Someone was shooting off fireworks which she is terrified of and dug out under the fence and ran away. She is a 7 year old light tan Shih Tzu and weighs 13lbs. She is wearing an orange and pink striped collar and is
very sweet but very skittish. Last seen @3502 Eldorado Trail. Please contact me if you have seen her- 512-844-1299. Thank you.

Lower Parking Lot - Shady Hollow Community Center
Cub Scout Pack 82 is holding its Annual Tree Recycling event on Saturday, January 14th from 9am - 11am in the lower parking lot of the Shady Hollow Community Center. There will be a roped off section of the parking lot for residents to drop off their trees as early as Monday, January 9th.
Please do not drop off trees any earlier than January 9th and DO NOT leave any trees after the 11:00am cut-off time on January 14th.

Serving on the Shady Hollow Board of Directors is a lot of work, but it's also very rewarding work. The past years have been very productive and the direction of the Board has always been to move forward. Disparate opinions are listened to with respect, a vote is taken, and on to the next issue.
Any SHHOA member is invited to run for office. If you decide to run, please submit a written statement of interest (an email to shadyhollow@austin.rr.com is acceptable) with your contact information to the HOA Office by January 3, 2017.
